Nilotica shea has all the benefits of regular shea butter but has 25% more essential fatty acid content. Nilotica shea butter is exceptionally rich in vitamins A, E, F and allantoins. It's light and easily absorbs into the skin. Due to its high oil content, it has a unique balm to oil consistency that melts into the skin upon touch.

Our Nilotica shea butter is harvested in Northern Uganda, East Africa. It is unrefined and produced to retain the highest levels of bioactive nutrients.
Ripe shea fruits fall from the tree in Uganda, from the months of April through June and are harvested before sunrise by the rural women.
A natural resource controlled by women, the shea butter tree supports the nutritional and economic health of rural families and sustains indigenous plant and animal biodiversity.
